Text alerts and opt-in
Program: D3SCOREBOARD ALERTS · Last updated: October 29, 2026
This page explains how an account owner consents to receive automated text messages from D3SCOREBOARD, the scoreboard service operated by In The D3 Huddle at scores.d3fbhuddle.com. It is a public page and needs no sign-in to read.
The opt-in: this checkbox on the alert settings screen
Account owners opt in by signing in, entering name and mobile number in the Alert texts panel of the Score Review Queue, and ticking this SMS consent checkbox. There is no public sign-up and no keyword opt-in. The box must be ticked before the number can be saved.
This page is the public record of that step: https://scores.d3fbhuddle.com/TextAlerts
What the messages are
Operational alerts for the broadcast and stats crew: when the service detects a possible problem with a game's score data (for example, two sources reporting different scores, or a box score that does not match the stored result), it sends a short text so an admin can check the game. These are internal operational notices, not marketing or promotional messages.
How an account owner opts in
The account owner signs in to the D3SCOREBOARD admin area at https://scores.d3fbhuddle.com and turns the alerts on inside the app, in four steps:
- 1Sign in at scores.d3fbhuddle.com/login with the account owner's email and password.
- 2Open the Score Review Queue tool from the sidebar and find the Alert texts panel.
- 3Enter a name and a mobile number in international format (for example +15555550123).
- 4Tick the SMS consent checkbox under the number field. The box carries the full consent wording: what is sent, the message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and that HELP and STOP work. The number cannot be saved until the box is ticked, and ticking it is the consent.

Message frequency, rates and opt-out
Message frequency varies, up to 10 messages per game day during the football season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out at any time; opting out stops all further text messages to that number. A number can also be removed from the alert settings inside the app at any time.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase
Opting in to text alerts is optional and is not required to create an account or to use the scoreboard, graphics or data tools.
